The newly launched Wakefit Zense includes two flagship products, Regul8 and Track8, designed to address specific challenges consumers face when seeking improved sleep quality.

Bengaluru-based startup Wakefit, a prominent direct-to-consumer home solutions company, has unveiled its latest innovation to enhance sleep health in India.

The newly launched Wakefit Zense includes two flagship products, Regul8 and Track8, designed to address specific challenges consumers face when seeking improved sleep quality.

Founded in 2016, Wakefit has secured substantial funding, including a $145.4 million Series D round in January 2023.

Backed by investors such as Verlinvest and Susquehanna International Group (SIG), Wakefit aims to continue to strengthen its position in the home solutions sector, focusing on advancing healthcare-centric technologies.

Wakefit’s Offerings

The first product, Regul8, is a mattress temperature controller. It allows users to adjust temperatures manually or select from preset options such as neutral, cold, warm, ice, and fire.

This innovation, equipped with 'Smart Sleep Control' technology, automatically regulates temperatures based on sleep patterns and other relevant metrics.

Sharing insights, Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, director and cofounder of Wakefit, said, “Regul8 offers seasonal adaptability, cooling during summer and heating in winter while consuming 60% less energy than a standard 1.5-ton air conditioner.”

The second product, Track8, introduces an AI-powered, contactless sleep-tracking system that analyzes sleep patterns without wearable devices.

Track8 employs AI and machine learning algorithms to monitor sleep stages, respiratory rates, snoring, movement, and overall sleep quality by utilizing a discreet sensor sheet beneath the mattress.

Commenting on the same, Yash Dayal, CTO, Wakefit, highlighted the user-centric design and technological advancement, stating, “Track8 provides users with detailed sleep reports and an aggregated sleep score, enabling personalized and accessible sleep management.”

Ramalingegowda reiterated Wakefit’s aim to address unique sleep challenges Indian consumers face through advanced technology.

He said, “We have always aspired to develop cutting-edge sleep solutions tailored for India. Regul8 and Track8 are the initial offerings under the Zense range, crafted in-house to be accessible and affordable.”

Regul8 is priced at INR 44,999 and Track8 at INR 10,499 at launch, with both products available at promotional prices.

Wakefit, known for its technological prowess and consumer-focused approach, plans to continue its research and development efforts to tackle specific sleep issues effectively.
