Biodimension Technology Secures INR 1.2 Cr Funding for Tissue Model Development

Biodimensionn is expected to boost product development and expand marketing efforts, aiming for long-term growth in the pharmaceutical sector.

VIT-incubated deeptech startup Biodimension Technology has raised INR 1.2 Cr in funding, led by Campus Angels Network.

The biotechnology startup focuses on developing functional human tissue replicas for drug, chemical, and cosmetic testing, providing an ethical alternative to animal testing, according to a press release.

“With the support of Campus Angels Network, we are now positioned to scale our operations and expand the reach of our human tissue models. Our goal is to provide pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries with advanced testing platforms that offer more reliable, human-relevant data,” said Manoj Kumar, Co-Founder & CEO of Biodimension Technology.

Founded in 2021 by Manoj Kumar Sampath, Ranjith Kumar Velusamy, and Pradeep Arunachalam, Biodimension is incubated by Vellore Institute of Technology TBI and Sastra ABLEST.

The startup aims to revolutionize healthcare and pharmaceutical industries with human-relevant testing platforms that offer more reliable data and ethical testing alternatives.

Further, their human tissue models address key challenges in pharmaceutical research and development by offering cruelty-free testing methods that deliver human-relevant data.

With the fresh funds, Biodimensionn is expected to boost product development, and expand marketing efforts, aiming for long-term growth in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors.
