With this, Aster Whitefield Multispecialty Hospital becomes India's first centre to offer Intra Operative Electron Radiation Therapy (IOERT) for precision treatment of Cancer.
Aster DM Healthcare, one of the leading private healthcare service providers in GCC and India, has unveiled its new 506-bedded multi-speciality hospital, Aster Whitefield in Bengaluru.
With the inaugural, Aster Whitefield Multispecialty Hospital becomes India's first centre to offer Intra Operative Electron Radiation Therapy (IOERT) for precision treatment of Cancer.
The hospital will feature the 4th generation Da Vinci Robot for advanced surgeries in Oncology and Urology along with an advanced OT complex with 16 Operating Theatres equipped with high-end medical equipment.
Other advanced technologies include Hybrid Biplane Cath Lab, 3D Mammogram, Digital PET CT, advanced LINAC, HIPEC/PIPEC Procedures, Full Room Digital Radiography and a Scalp Cooling System to prevent hair loss during chemotherapy.
With this launch, Aster Whitefield became the 3rd multi-specialty hospital in Bengaluru and overall 19th hospital in India by the Aster Group. It aims to provide accessible and affordable healthcare, with a focus on specialities such as oncology, neurosciences, and women’s healthcare.
Moreover, the hospital will house globally trained and experienced doctors with proven clinical excellence and support staff to offer exceptional patient care and medical outcomes.

Founded in 1987, by Dr Azad Moopen, Aster DM Healthcare has its corporate headquarters in Dubai, UAE, and is registered in Bangalore, India.
