The company’s latest developments, Staff AI Co-Pilot and Insights AI Co-Pilot, are built to address the increasing demands of digital patient interactions.

USA’s Healthcare technology company Artera introduced new artificial intelligence tools designed to support healthcare administrative staff in managing high volumes of patient communication with greater ease and accuracy.

As stated in their announcement, the company’s latest developments, Staff AI Co-Pilot and Insights AI Co-Pilot, are built to address the increasing demands of digital patient interactions.

One primary feature of the Staff AI Co-Pilot is its capacity to streamline conversations by providing real-time language translation.

This tool enables administrative staff to interact with patients in their preferred language for both inbound and outbound messages, breaking down language barriers for a more effective and inclusive communication experience.

Additionally, the tool shortens lengthy messages for clarity, helping to reduce message volume and enhance patient understanding.

"Our Staff AI Co-Pilot steps in to address this, offering real-time tools such as improved language translations, conversation summaries, and predictive text to assist staff in responding more efficiently and accurately. By automating repetitive tasks, we enable staff to focus on high-touch patient interactions and deliver improved customer service," said Artera founder and CEO Guillaume de Zwirek.

Data-Driven Insights for Patient Engagement

Artera’s second tool, the Insights AI Co-Pilot, is designed to leverage patient engagement data to provide healthcare providers with actionable insights. The tool uses predictive analytics to generate smart no-show reports, identifying patients at higher risk of missing appointments.

This feature allows healthcare providers to proactively reach out to these patients, ensuring continuity in care and minimizing missed appointments.

The company has plans to expand this tool’s capabilities in early 2025. Future updates will include automating outreach to patients at risk for no-shows directly within staff email inboxes, further enhancing the efficiency of patient communication management.

"For years, we’ve been leveraging AI within our platform to help healthcare providers transform their patient engagement data into action; the Insights AI Co-Pilot is a natural extension of this, offering actionable recommendations based on patient behavior, including the ability to predict missed appointments," de Zwirek remarked.

Other Announcements

Artera also announced upgrades to its existing Artera Harmony solution, a tool designed to consolidate patient communication across different departments. Health systems often face challenges with fragmented communication channels, which can lead to a disjointed patient experience.

Artera Harmony aims to streamline workflows by integrating various communication platforms, enabling providers to manage interactions more effectively.

Critical updates include a new feature for multistep conversation flows and advanced categorization of patient communications through machine learning.

The company’s planned 2025 rollout will further improve the user experience with an enhanced inbox UI designed to help administrative staff handle larger patient populations more effectively.
