Special Chief Secretary (HM&FW) MT Krishna Babu said IVRS feedback must be used to assess hospital services, holding superintendents accountable for service quality.
Andra Pradesh Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav has directed hospitals to implement the e-health project, stating that electronic health records (EHRs) must be used to improve patient care and hospital accountability.
In a video conference with officials, MinisterYadav ordered better coordination among superintendents, principals, and administrators of Government General Hospitals (GGHs) to enhance medical services. He instructed hospitals to ensure doctor availability, maintain cleanliness, improve medicine supply, and address staff behavior issues.
The Health Minister further noted that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is closely monitoring government hospital services.
''There should be no negligence in serving the needy," Yadav said.
Additionally, he ordered hospitals to address issues such as the availability of stretchers and wheelchairs, especially for pregnant women and the elderly.
He directed that the same doctor must attend to patients during consultations and after test results. While noting progress under the 30-point action plan, he called for stricter implementation of measures to improve healthcare delivery.

In another development, days back, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum summit in Davos. The discussion centered around the possibility of forming partnerships to transform Andhra Pradesh into a global hub for health, education, and innovation.
During the meeting, Naidu proposed the establishment of a Center of Excellence for Health Innovation and Diagnostics in the state.
