Anurag Yadav Appointed Chairman of Gleneagles Hospital Parel, Mumbai

Yadav joined Gleneagles Healthcare India as CFO on April 1, 2017, and later assumed the role of CEO on January 14, 2022.

Gleneagles Healthcare India has appointed Anurag Yadav, its CEO, as the new chairman of the Board for Gleneagles Hospital Parel, Mumbai. This hospital is one of the six under the Gleneagles network in India.

In his role as chairman, Yadav will collaborate with his leadership team and board members to steer the strategic direction and governance of this 250-bed healthcare facility.

Gleneagles Hospital Parel offers a wide range of comprehensive services, including advanced endoscopic procedures, hepatobiliary and liver surgeries, surgical and medical gastroenterology, bariatric surgery, and robotic surgery.

Career Background

Anurag Yadav joined Gleneagles Healthcare India as chief financial officer on April 1, 2017, and later assumed the role of chief executive officer on January 14, 2022.

With over 25 years of experience, Yadav is a seasoned expert in business leadership, financial management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and post-merger integration.

Before joining Gleneagles, Yadav was the regional operations head (North India) at Manipal Health Enterprises. In this role, he oversaw financial performance, commissioned a greenfield project in the National Capital Region, and managed a radiology joint venture with Philips.

As a senior leader at Fortis Healthcare, Yadav played a key role in the company's listing in 2007 and its subsequent rights issue in 2009.

He was also instrumental in managing acquisitions and integrating 10 Wockhardt hospitals, 4 Escorts hospitals, Malar Hospitals, and 4 greenfield hospital projects into the Fortis network.
