Amazon Pharmacy has announced that it now delivers medicines across 100% of serviceable pin codes in India, positioning itself as one of the most comprehensive online healthcare platforms in the country.
The e-commerce giant claims its pharmacy services are accessible even in the remotest parts of India, offering customers the convenience of ordering prescription medications, over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, medical devices, supplements, and health products from the comfort of their homes.
Amazon’s robust logistics network supports this ambitious expansion, enabling same-day delivery in 23 cities, including major metros and Tier-II cities.

"By leveraging Amazon’s extensive logistics infrastructure, we ensure that even customers in remote areas like Port Blair, Havelock in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Leh in Ladakh, Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, and Roing in Arunachal Pradesh can access essential medications."

If customers have missing or erroneous prescriptions, a registered medical practitioner contacts them to assess their needs and, if appropriate, issues a new prescription to complete the order.
