The Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) scan and share facility was successfully implemented at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, with the goal of shortening outpatient department (OPD) wait times and eliminating long lines.
With an impressive 73,700 ABHA scan and share OPD tokens issued to date, AIIMS New Delhi is currently in first place thanks to the implementation of the ABHA scan and share facility.
The ABHA mobile application improved the overall patient experience at the OPD by significantly reducing waiting times and streamlining the registration process for hospital patients.
Patients can quickly and easily receive a unique token number by scanning a designated QR code with the Personal Health Record application, which is compatible with the ABHA. Patients don't have to wait in line because their token is visible and they can walk right up to the counter. AIIMS New Delhi demonstrates its dedication to utilizing digital solutions for the benefit of its patients by adopting this cutting-edge technology. The Director of AIIMS New Delhi, Dr. M. Srinivas, expressed his enthusiasm for this technology's positive impact on patient care.
The introduction and adoption of ABHA scan and share facility by AIIMS New Delhi is an exhibit of its ongoing commitment and excellence achieved in healthcare delivery all through these years. In order to provide world-class healthcare facilities and enhance patient care, the institution continues to be committed to adopting cutting-edge technologies and embracing best practices for their unrivalled healthcare services in the nation.
