Abhay Soi, Sangita Reddy, Ameera Shah, Om Prakash Manchanda, & Others Join Nathealth

This declaration was made in the annual general meeting after the 10th Nathealth Arogya Bharat Summit 2024.

Nathealth, the apex body representing the Indian healthcare industry has appointed Abhay Soi, chairman & MD, Max Healthcare Institute, as its new president for FY 24-25. Besides, industry luminaries such as Ameera Shah, promoter & MD of Metropolis Healthcare, joined the body as senior VP and Dr Sangita Reddy, joint MD, Apollo Hospitals Group, as VP.

This declaration was made in the annual general meeting after the 10th Nathealth Arogya Bharat Summit 2024.

Abhay Soi succeeds Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, the former president of Nathealth during FY 23-24.

They are joined by Dr Om Prakash Manchanda, MD, Dr Lal PathLabs as the treasurer, and Anish Bafna, CEO & MD, Healthium Medtech, as the secretary of Nathhealth.

Apart from this, Siddhartha Bhattacharya will continue to be the secretary general and will lead the Nathealth Secretariat team.

The newly appointed members will continue to foster strategic partnerships, bring together healthcare stakeholders across India through the regional chapters, and work with policymakers to drive healthcare accessibility for all.

Speaking on his appointment as the president of Nathhealth, Abhay Soi, chairman and MD, Max Healthcare, said, “With the PM’s strong commitment to Health for All and his vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, aiming for digital and inclusive healthcare access, we are on the cusp of a significant opportunity. Nathealth will play a key role in partnering with the government to ensure that the vision of the PM is realized.’’

Talking about digital health, Ameera Shah, senior VP, Nathealth & promoter & MD, Metropolis Healthcare, highlighted that the private sector is currently presented with a chance to lead growth and drive social impact through proactive digital transformation.

“In the dynamic healthcare landscape, driven by technology and evolving patient needs, digital health solutions offer unprecedented opportunities for innovation. Our focus should be on expanding the overall health capacity through advanced technologies to improve healthcare access, efficiency, and quality,” Shah added.

Dr Sangita Reddy, the newly appointed VP of Nathealth and joint MD, Apollo Hospitals Group noted that a comprehensive healthcare model that combines expertise, technology, and highest standards of care, is essential.
