Jaipur's HCG Cancer Centre Unveils Elekta Harmony Pro Radiotherapy Platform

Jaipur's HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG) Cancer Centre has unveiled an advanced linear accelerator system called Elekta Harmony Pro Radiotherapy Platform, the first of its kind in North India for cancer treatment.

This move aligns with the Centre's objective of providing world-class oncology care. With this platform, the centre now can offer personalised and high-quality care for a broader spectrum of patients across North India.

Reportedly, the Elekta Harmony Pro Radiotherapy Platform will deliver precise and efficient radiation therapy tailored to each patient's needs.

Furthermore, the advanced technology integrates precision, speed, and comfort to deliver highly targeted radiation therapy for cancer patients. It also reduces side effects and confirms treatment accuracy, thereby improving the overall quality of life for cancer patients.


Headquartered in Bangalore, the HCG is the country's leading cancer hospital in the country. The healthcare organisation focuses on delivering patient-centric and value-based cancer care through the adoption of advanced technology, constant research, and innovation.

Recently, Nashik's HCG Manavata Cancer acentre inaugurated '˜Manavata365' service to offer home healthcare services for the people of Nashik. The initiative aims to provide prompt and efficient healthcare services to patients which they can avail from their homes. Manavata365 offers personalised services with a team of over 300 trained home attendants, nurses, and on-call doctors.

Currently, HCG has a network of 24 comprehensive cancer centres across India, offering advanced diagnostics and world-class cancer treatments. It aims to make comprehensive quality care accessible, affordable, and equitable to cancer patients across metro and non-metro cities.

Talking about cancer-related developments, recently Kerela's Cochin Cancer Research Centre secured INR 204 Cr funding from KIIFB for Vital Medical Equipment Upgrade. The Kerela Medical Services Corporation Ltd (KMSCL) was tasked to procure essential medical devices including MRI, CT scans, PET scan machines, ventilators, and diagnostic equipment among others.

In another instance, Fortis Gurugram introduced a digital PET CT machine for enhanced cancer diagnosis imaging. This machine offers improved precision, fast procedures and less radiation exposure for patients.
