Fortis-CDOC Introduces Diabetes Remission Clinic in Response to Soaring Diabetes Cases

Addressing the rising prevalence of pre-diabetes and diabetes in India, Fortis-CDOC has inaugurated a diabetes remission clinic in collaboration with Twin Health USA, incorporating innovative Whole-Body Digital Twin™ technology.

The clinic aims to provide comprehensive diabetes care through personalised strategies focusing on nutrition, sleep, and physical activity. In other healthcare developments, on World Diabetes Day, AIIMS Delhi also took a step towards diabetes care by launching a free insulin distribution service for economically disadvantaged patients. This initiative provides free insulin vials to prescribed patients in outpatient departments and those admitted for consultation.

Additionally, healthtech startup BeatO expanded its diabetes care services by launching physical touchpoints in collaboration with renowned doctors. This 'phygital' approach integrates physical and digital elements, starting with five clinics in the Delhi/NCR region, with plans to expand across key cities in the next six months.
